ENERGY MANAGEMENT
Energy efficiency in buildings is the heart of Chason's philosophy. From the first energy management study that we performed in 1972 to current projects, we have strived to improve our ability to provide comfort control at the lowest possible cost.

Our experience with a variety of building types, including offices, schools, apartment buildings and hospitals helps us to develop systematic approaches to energy reduction design.

We start with an evaluation of historical energy consumption and performance testing of air conditioning and heating systems. This data, along with observations of building use patterns will suggest ways to save energy and improve comfort. We then apply owner-supplied financial parameters to develop a plan for cost effective changes to systems.

HVAC DESIGN
Chason's engineers have a minimum of 30 years experience in the design of mechanical systems for buildings. We are experienced in both new building design and renovations to existing buildings.

Our design approach assures the client of cost effectiveness from conceptual design through bid and final adjustment of the systems. In the critical areas of detailing and specifications, feedback from the field is used to update and improve the quality of our documents. At the same time, we are aware that various types of project delivery are in use; our documentation is tailored to the individual situation.


EXPERT SERVICES TO ATTORNEYS
Our experience in HVAC system troubleshooting has created an expertise in assisting attorneys involved in litigation or pre-litigation relating to heating and air conditioning matters. Over the past 25 years, we have provided attorney support. We are prepared to provide services in this area concerning heating and cooling load analysis, HVAC system malfunction, excessive energy use, economics relating to HVAC construction and interpretation of construction document intent and other construction claims.
